The light filled lounge (is newly created) and features a stunning botanical wall painting from artist Hugo Dalton, it’s not hard to see where the inspiration came from; the lounge overlooks the walled gardens that surround the hotel. Sit back in one of the British designed sofas from Russell Pinch or Mathew Hilton, we do like their designs. As the day passes enjoy coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea before the light fades and a sip of something special is in order.

With its warm dark furnishings the bar is a sophisticated place, serving up cocktails by night, the selection changes with the seasons. Tell us how you like your cocktails, or let us create something just for you.

Our library is a firm favourite in our hotel in Cheltenham, and we are sure it will be no different in Exeter. Choose from 750 titles (there really is something for everyone), chosen with Devon in mind make sure you take time to have a wander through the selection.
